COVENANT KEEPING GOD:- MINISTERING SENIOR PASTOR:-SAMUEL OKECHUKWU JONAH

GOD is not a promise-keeping GOD, HE is a covenant-keeping GOD. What we see as the promises of GOD are not promises, but the covenants of GOD. A covenant is a contract or an agreement between two parties.

That is exactly the way GOD relates with us. HE offers us a contract in which both us and HIM have what to do and until our part is done, HIS own part will not be done. GOD is always ready to do HIS part of the deal, HE cannot disappoint, that is why HE said; HE will not break HIS covenant nor alter HIS words~Psalm 89:34. But it is when we do our own part of the deal that HE gets moved to do HIS own part.

The Bible is a covenant(contract) book between both parties(You and GOD). Every word in the Bible is a covenant between you and GOD, it is a contract GOD is offering you. When every contract is well executed, payment is well-paid, so when you do your part of the covenant, you get well-paid. For example, HE said; if you will obey and serve HIM, you will spend your days in prosperity and your years in pleasures~Job 36:11. So, the part you are to play in that contract is to obey HIM, then HE will play HIS part, which is to make you have prosperity and pleasure. For everything in the scriptures, there is what we must do, even salvation is a contract(covenant). For anyone to be saved and escape the horrors of this world, he must accept JESUS as his LORD and SAVIOR, else, no salvation for him.

Three key reasons why God is a Covenant Keeping.

1. God cannot lie. Numbers 23:19-23, Hebrews 6:17-18

2. He is a covenant keeping God. Joshua 21:45
He will fulfill his covenant of salvation. 2 Cor 6:2
He will fulfill his covenant of healing. Exodus 15;26
He will fulfill his covenant of protection. Psalm 91:1-8
He will fulfill his covenant of deliverance.. Obadiah 1;17, Numbers 23:23
He will fulfill his covenant of Joy. Numbers 23:23
He will fulfill his covenant of peace. Philippians 4:17
He will fulfill his covenant of provision and prosperity. Proverbs 10:22, Philippians 4:19
He will uplift and anoint you. Deuteronomy 28:13,Acts 1:8

3. He is an unchanging God in a changing world,. Hebrews 13:18

NOTE:

ANY FAITH THAT MAKES GOD ABSOLUTELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OUTCOME OF YOUR LIFE IS AN IRRESPONSIBLE  THEREFORE, CHECK THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS(BIBLE) FOR YOUR PART OF THE CONTRACT, DO IT AND GOD WILL BE COMMITTED TO DO HIS OWN PART OF THE CONTRACT TOO...
BE WISE...!!!

DONT GIVE UP GOD IS WORKING

Author: Senior Pastor SAMUEL OKECHUKWU JONAH

Dear Reader,

I am sure that you have been receiving some helpful truths on how to get your spouse saved. Continuous practice of what you have received will further guarantee a quick testimony for you in Jesus’ name!

This week, I shall be teaching on one virtue that is very helpful in getting your spouse saved. It is one virtue that looks so insignificant that many believers find very hard to use. This virtue is PATIENCE.

“Patience” is a human ability to accept delay, annoyance or suffering without complaining. It is also the ability to keep doing something that requires a lot of effort. Patience is a must, when it comes to the salvation of your spouse.

Many, who are faced with the challenges of being married to their unsaved spouses, always seek quick ways of quitting their marriage.  Rather than staying in the marriage to work out the challenges, they opt for ways to put an end to their marriage. If this is the situation with you, I would like you to know that this is not the solution.

Praying, fasting and living a Christian life that speaks will demand your patience as your unsaved spouse may try to frustrate your efforts by constantly doing things that may upset you or that are against your Christian faith. Your unsaved spouse’s contrary actions to what you are praying for, is not of his or her will. Remember, he or she has not seen the light and can be considered one who has been blinded. Also, he/she is still under the influence of the prince of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Patience, while praying, fasting and living a life that speaks is needful most times, especially when a miracle does not happen the way you expect it to. Hebrews 10:35-36 says: Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Remember that when you too were unsaved, you may have done worse things in foolishness, but God still found joy in accepting you as His child. He forgave you and redeemed you so that you could do the same, especially towards your unsaved spouse.

It may take some time for him or her to come around to accept Jesus with you, but patience will help you not to give up just too quickly.  Your faith will be tried as written in James 1:3-4 which says: Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. When your patience is in place, you will always find yourself strengthened instead of fainting at such times. Learn to exercise more patience with your spouse, who is an unbeliever. Do not see him or her as the person responsible for all those negative actions; rather, see the devil as the sole culprit and address the situation as such when you are before the Lord.

Instead of talking back, nagging, shouting, insulting or giving in all together, remember that it is the voice of the devil that is controlling your spouse and not him/herself. When you see it this way, you will seek ways to protect your unsaved spouse and direct your anger back at the devil accordingly. All the testimonies that you have read since this teaching began, had the working of patience attached to them. The people involved, carefully and patiently acted on the Word of God that they had received.

Here is another testimony that will further build your faith: “I give thanks to God for quelling the war in my home between my husband and I. I kept praying for God to touch my husband’s heart, so that we could both be attending church services together.  I remembered God’s Word, believed it and kept appropriating it to myself.

On Tuesday, when another fight was to start, I left the house for my mother’s house. On returning home in the evening, my husband said that he wanted to talk with me. Then, he said that he wanted to give his life to Christ. This morning, to the glory of God, my husband is here in church with me”.

The act of being patient can only be easy when God becomes your stronghold. It is quiet impossible to be patient by your own power and might. This is because it is holding on to God that will give you an access to that power. However, if you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you cannot become a child of God, neither can you access that power. If you will like to accept Jesus Christ now, please say this prayer: “Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”

If you prayed this simple prayer, you are now a child of God. He loves you and will never leave you. Read your Bible daily, obey God’s Word and seek Christian fellowship (John 14:21).

Congratulations! You are now born again! All-round rest and peace are guaranteed you, in Jesus’ Name. Call or write, and share your testimonies with me through our underlisted links.

THEME:- POWER AS OF OLD

MINISTERING:-SENIOR PASTOR, OKECHUKWU JONAH

Highway Revival Church Worldwide.

Man’s destiny is progressive. However, certain forces arise to hinder the flow of progress in life. One of these forces is the spirit of limitation. To be limited is to be restricted, resisted and restrained.

The Spirit of limitation delays destinies from getting to their ordained and expected places. The spirit of limitation is a force that must be broken, if you are to fulfill your destiny in a grand style. The Spirit of limitation makes life to perform below capacity and frustrates people from being all they could be.

Limitation has the power to destroy destiny, to steal glory and joy, as well as render glorious life useless. If you don’t break the yoke of limitation, you can never get to where God has destined for you, thereby not enjoying all that has been prepared for you.

Causes Of Limitation:
•Sin: There is nothing that limits or reduces man on earth as sin. Sin has been the major obstacle in the history of mankind. It has reduced the supernatural man to an ordinary man. Sin has killed much future potential. No one lives in sin and enjoy the benefits of dominion.
•Ignorance: This is lack of knowledge, a state of total darkness. No man will be justified for being ignorant, for ignorance is not an excuse.
•Curses: A curse is an evil statement said or invoked upon someone as a result of sin or one evil act that is being carried out.
•No Purpose And Misplaced Priority: There is no person in this world that does not have a purpose, but not everyone cares to discover the purpose of his/her existence. You cannot advance when you are not at the place of your assignment.
•Evil Covenant: Evil covenants pronounce limitation on glorious destinies. Entering into covenants consciously or unconsciously causes limitations.

Overcoming the forces of limitation does not depend on God alone. The responsibilities are laid on you and me. Man that was born of woman is full of trouble, but he that was born of God overcomes the world.Symbol of limitation in dreams include Water, Mountain, Sexual intercourse in the dream, Eating in the dream, Cobwebs and many more.

Way Out
• Have a consistent relationship with God.
• Define your purpose of existence and discover your place in destiny.
• Give yourself to prayer and fasting.
• Live a holy life, avoid sin by all means.
• Give yourself to hard work and commitment.
• Place your hope in Jesus Christ and do not trust your own abilities.
I pray that the Almighty God will break every barrier of limitations in our lives in Jesus name.
